Jason Matlo is a fashion designer specializing in ready-to-wear women’s wear that is designed and manufactured in Canada. Born in Calgary and raised in Kelowna, Matlo displayed an artistic talent from a young age. Now based in Vancouver, Matlo aspires to bring his art form to an international audience. The brand exudes sophistication and eternal style drawing on inspiration from the golden fashion decade of the 1930s. His modern collections reflect a strong focus on couture cuts and detailing resulting in excellent comfort and fit.

The leaves have yet to change, but there is no question that fall is near. So whether you anxiously anticipate fashion’s favorite season or cling to summer’s relaxed dress code, here are our tips to carry the best of your summer wardrobe through to Fall…

Last week, we had the pleasure of partnering with award-winning Boneta restaurant, our gastown neighbour, for a night of food, fashion, and fancy. The premier event in Ishara’s tasting series, the night was a huge success and plans for the next tasting event are already underway. Guests mingled with designers and Boneta owner Neil while nibbling on canapes and wine pairings.
